The reviews from some of the leading progressive blogs on this book have been quite positive. Over at Firedoglake.com they had a discussion with Aaron Barlow: http://firedoglake.com/2007/07/20/fdl-book-salon-the-rise-of-the-blogosphere-sunday-july-22-5pm-est/
In the book, I take blogging back to the time of Ben Franklin, who I see as the patron saint of the blogs. It was a fun book to write, and it came about when I recognized that de Tocqueville's descriptions of American newspapers circa 1830 could as easily be descriptions of the blogs of 2005.
